Hi all I'm a newbie so be kind.. I've got a 24 gal that I'm going to use as a isolation salt water tank w/some LR. My problem is it has no sump, there’s really no room for one since it came with a canister filter. Is there any way I could connect a skimmer to my canister? Or would I have to go with a HOB skimmer. I’m sure I be asking a lot more questions in the future so thanks before hand..

If the tank is only for isolation purposes (like for a few weeks for a new fish) you don't need to use a skimmer on it at all. Just do decent size water changes weekly and don't overfeed
Also, in a tank that small you'll need to watch the evaporation and make sure the SG stays consistent.
