Live sand before cycling?

Ive read a couple different things about adding your live sand before you cycle. Some say dont and some say its ok. What are your opinons?

I think live sand would help the cycle.

Thats what I thought but, after I read that, it was kind of contradicting so I just wanted a little more reassurance.

Where are you planning on getting the sand?

Well Ive already got the sand. I got it from Aquatic Connection or aquacon.com. It came very well packaged and in a cooler full of water. It has been sitting there for a week because Ive been worried about putting it in my rock was supposed to get here yesterday and still hasn't. I think it's due to the weather for the delay. Ive got my aquarium up and running ready to go with 20# of Aragamax oolitic sand in it.

You don't have to wait for the rock-I'd put the sand in now.
