Hello, has anyone used the Phlizon Black Box 165W for a reef tank? I’ve been using some Fluval Sea Nano LED, but it’s too weak. I have a 25-gallon reef tank with Discosoma mushrooms, and I’m planning to add some anemone. I found the Phlizon light at a decent price, and as long as it grows corals and brings out some color, I’m fine with it.

A lot of people have recommended the Viparspectra/ Noopsyche K7, but I couldn’t find them on Amazon Canada.

what intensity settings would you recommend for this light?

I have gifted same by ordering from etsy to my friend who has installed in his gutter cleaning gouttieredrummondville.ca company office reef tank and it works fine.
For settings, I’d recommend starting around 50-60% on the whites and 30-40% on the blues. Adjust from there depending on how your corals respond. Mushrooms and anemones can tolerate moderate light, but keep an eye on their color and health. If you notice them getting too pale or stressed, lower the intensity a bit. If you plan to add more demanding corals in the future, you can always tweak the settings as needed. and you can search on etsy and wallmart hopefully you will get it.
