I second the 1/4 hp recommendation, anything less may not bring temps down low enough

I've seen used chillers show up here time to time, some old, some new. but IMO this is one of those items that you might be better off getting brand new, like everything in life exceptions do exist.

On a side note,
I need a three story house, and new sports car, but I what I think he's look for is advice on purchasing a chiller for his 90 gallon, hahaha

I think it will depend on on what type of lighting you will be using(ie, MH verus, T5, PC.) and how long you have them on. Also where the tank is located, such as an area that is air conditioned in the summer.

Thank you Warren. Unless you can tell us how many degrees you need to lower your temp, there's absolutely no way you can say what size chiller you need.

You have a 90g tank in a room where the temp is 95 degrees in the summer. Or you have a 90g tank in a room where the temp is 85 degrees in the summer. The chiller size will not be the same.

We need more info.
