I'm of that same opinion when it comes to buying stuff.

So I havent bought anything yet and I wont for a while. I'm enjoying researching reef keeping quite a bit so far. Which brings me to what you just mentioned. USELESS LIGHTING!

What do you think of the Solaris LED's. Besides the HIGH price! They seem like the think to get if you have the means. I dont like buying twice so I would consider delaying my purchase until I had enough to get these wonderful looking lights. My goal is to have a reef tank "(125g) with fish,inverts & corals.

I think that may be a good lighting system in the future but right now it's just to new to say for sure. I would stick with T5's and MH

I actually only moved here over the summer and went to aqua hut once ( last week ) but I'm sure I'll run into you.

he gets his shipments in on thursdays and fridays if you go there after sunday or monday he is usually sold out. Not alot of coral but lots of fish and awesome prices make sure you talk to don the owner.

will do. i actually wanted to get sand there but he didnt have the sugar fine and would have needed to order which would have required a deposit which would have required me going home to get one and coming back since for some reason he doesnt have a store phone...odd way of doing business but he does have good prices.

ok about to place my order for a new pump for my sump. Was going to go with a mag 1200 and and for the protein skimmer i was going to go with a AGM G series G-1. again its for 105 tank. Does anyone have these items already? Any problems with them?? Also getting a Sybon refractometer and reef master test kit.
Also what type of Salt is recommended?? Reef Crystals??

so im dropping off the tanks to be drill saturday finally. No pics of the tank but heres the custom stand that i have been working on little by little for over a year just stained and need to mount the bi fold doors.

cool nice work. Not sure of any place on the island selling live rock, Country Critters right near you does but it is going to be really expensive they have some nice stuff but charge way to much for everything. Last week I was in there and they wanted 2.99 for turbo snails lol

yea stand looks nice...its pretty diesel....now all you need is a matching canopy....it will be a nice show piece in the house.
