Yeah, those are the ones I'm talking about. I had to get rid of them by siphoning them out after multiple treatments of FWE.

I'm asking because I don't want to confuse the treatment of the red flatworms with my comments on the tiny white flatworms...

I recently read (in a very reliable source... IMO) that the little white ones are to be expected in a newly set up reef tank ...within the first few months and about the same time that large amounts of pods start to appear.
The source also said that as the tank matures these will spontaneously vanish and are not a concern that needs to be dealt with. :spin:

Well, after siphoning them out, I have never seen another flatworm. It's too bad that I'm tearing my tank down to put up a larger one.

Well, honestly, I don't think I would have gotten FW at all if I didn't introduce infested rocks. My tank was up for 7 months pest free.

I'd like to say that FWE is one of the few products I've bought for salt or freshwater tanks that DOES what it says it will do..
I'd love to know what's in it,it don't say on the box or bottle..
