Yes, Glass will act as a filter of sorts.

White, it will pass more light through.

Light Diffuser panel. In the section with the Florescent lighting.

They would, I'm sure. But just get a piece and take it home and do it yourself. You will get an exact fit that way. I use Wire cutters to cut it.
