About Clams?

Im starting a 55 gallon LPS and softies tank would i be able to put clams in there after the tank is up and running for 6 to 9 months?

It shouldn't be a problem depending on the parameters of the tank at that time, Clams require a well established tank. Best bet is to get the tank up and running now and wait til that time comes.

Don't forget about the correct lighting they require. =0)

I put a derasa clam in mine after about 8 months. Seems to be doing quite well.
