Bio bale in ps?

anybody have an opionion on using the bio bale that comes with a cpr bak pak ps?

hmm ... i am actually using two right now, one in the nano and the other in the 50 gallon (saving up for a better one hopefully soon) ... and my nitrates have been zero (according to API) ... i am actually going to take the bio-bale out soon because it traps a lot of debris, but its definitely not because of the nitrates ...
