disappearing cheato

This past week my baseball size cheato that i've been growing has slowly disappeared. Today I checked my fuge and the 2x 2" mat is even now gone. What could have caused teh chaeto to disappear? Do purple reef lobsters eat it? I have one in the fuge along with nassarius and cerith snails. My mangroves are growing but my cheato is now missing.

i guess it is.. but then my mangroves started to spout leaves at the top.

Yea "not enough" lol! Mangrooves are most likley just sucking them up before the cheato can since you might not have alot...
