maxi jet 1200 46g too much

i have 2 maxi jet 1200s both on opposite sides of my 46 g bow front fowlr tank, i want to convert it to a reef tank and put all of my fish in my new 55 g. i only have a green bubble tip anemone for now and plan on adding corals within the week, just wondering if the two maxi jets will be too much flow? i want frog spawn and leathers and mushrooms and polyps and stuff. =] its 36" long and the width is about 12" i would say? one power head has the revolving thing that spreads out the flow. all help is appreictaed and thanks in advance =]

no they are not too much flow. You might even want to consider buying th maxi jet mods you will get better flow with them.

so changing one of the power heads with maxi jet 400 wouldnt be beneficial to the 46 g? and maxi jet mods? what do they do and where can i find them?

also consider koralia 4, they have more spread then maxi jets. i have one on my 46g and i like it a lot.
