too much flow?

I just switched out the stock pump that came with the biocube with a pump rated 300 gph. Is that ok or overkill? Everything seems fine so far, I just want to get some opinions on it. Its 14 gallons.

what corals are you keeping in the tank?

a bunch of different zoos and palys. Some green stars, Xenia. Bubble, Frogspawn and Torch corals (all of which are on the farthest away from the outlet and are doing fine right now.) And some watermelon ricordias, and I have two fuzzy mushrooms somewhere in there. A clownfish and the normal snails and hermits.
I also have a diffusier (a Hydor Flo wavemaker) on the outlet. I have had that pretty much since getting the tank because the direct flow caused problems right away.
