Does anyone have experience with the Orchid Dottyback being aggressive towards corals. My Dottyback has been nipping at the tentacles and biting at the body of my Favia. Not a lot but enough to get me to write this. I'm thinking he needs to come out.

They usually don't bother corals. There maybe something in the coral, like a worm, crab or pod that the Orchid Dottyback maybe trying to get at. Try moving the coral to a different spot in the tank, then see if it still bothers it.
I just added a new fish two days ago, so I wonder if he's just frustrated because he's still the little guy. Another fish to boss him around. He's definitely pissed, I also saw him nipping at a clam. Hopefully he will chill out in a few days.

I'm not sure adding a new fish would make it start to nip at corals. Dottyback are usually aggressive and territorial if anything it would probably be looking to stake out its territory in the tank.
