Wet/dry and/or Fluval305?

I have a 75g with an adequate size Skimmer and Wet/dry. I also have a fluval 305 running. Is the fluval doing more harm than help. I think I might still be in the freshwater mindset, "the more filtration, the better". What should I do, leave it running on the tank or take it away?

I think you will just have a factory for nitrates and phosphates unless you clean the sponges a few times a week which which would be a pain. If you just had something like Seachem Reef Matrix(not the carbon) you would have a nice additional area for the good bacteria.
