LED Guide?

Is there a guide on DIY LED lighting?

I hear a lot about buck pucks, LEDs per BP, LED quantity, optics, par output and dimming. Im cool with some of it but there is a lot of gaps.

I want to see what would be involved with making an assembly for my 75 that I want to evolve.

This seems like a really cool and sound investment for a mixed reef tank. Taking into consideration bulb life and minimal heat generation.

I think more people would take the step if more complete information was available.
