i have the pc version of this tank and i love it!! i recently bought the prot skim from marindepot and it works very well. the only thing i can think of is that u really need to dig deep in the back to get all the crap out when doin a good cleanup, thats all!! its great!

I used to have that tank. It runs very hot and you will almost certainly need a chiller to run it with the top closed. Other than that it's a nice tank.

Heat is definitely an issue when using MH with that tank.

its not entirely a huge issue. i had that tank for a good year..what i did was stick some pieces of wood between the tank and the hood, and placed a fan in in the back blowing across water surface. max temp i had this summer w/o AC was 83.5 degrees. i normally keep tank between 80-81..with AC, the tank never got above 81.5-82. personally if i was to set up another NC id convert the hood to LEDs.

For that price you can find a really nice used set up with equipment. The nan cubes are nice but you are limited with what equipment you can use with them.IMO

I have dealt with them in the past and they have great customer service and advice for nano type systems. They're names are Nick an Chris. It is a one stop shop for everything you might need for a Nano.

There is a 24 gl fs in the market place. No hqi but with the saved money you can pick up a nice light, LED maybe.
