I"m having a hard time keeping my calcium and alkalinity levels from dropping lately , I think it's because my sps has grown so much. I have a 125, 1/2 the tank is sps the rest lps with a korallin 1502 reactor it used to keep up with the tank running at 10bubbles per minute and 40 drops per minute , now I set it at 30 bubbles and a constant stream coming out(125ml per minute) and the alk and calcium still drop. The ph of the efluent is 6 and dkh 32 .
My tank parameters are after dosing 9.5-10 dkh and 400 calcium 1250 mag but after a week they'll go to 6.7 alk 350 calcium using salifert test kits I checked the alk test kit with the stuff it comes with and it's accurate.
Can I add a second chamber to my reactor or do I have to replace it?
