hello all

i am you could consider a newbie, I got a nc12dx with stock lighting, 15 lbs of lr, hydor nano, mj 900 for the return pump, sapphire aquatics nano skimmer, and for the filter using lr rubbles, chemipure elit, purigen, cheatos, filter floss in that order.

live stock I got CUC, 2 perc clownfish, 1 frogspawn which I think is stressed, 2 rics, 1 xenia.

could I add any more fish?

tank has been running for 2 months now, using api to test ammonia 0, nitrite 0, ph 8.2, nitrate 0 and using salifert for testing calcuim 470. I do water changes everyweek about 20%

at most 1 more fish, one that will serve a purpose, like a blenny which have awesome personalities 12g is a small tank and not hard for parm's to jump and bioload to go up

I think adding inverts is even more rewarding than adding fish. You can get some cool livestock that will not increase your bioload that much, and will help to control excess waste in the system.

Also, you can always add more corals too.

found a gorilla crab today inside one of my rocks. didn't know how it got there. read that it is bad. can't figure out how to catch him.

You can try the shot glass trick. Put a piece of food in a shot glass. The theory is they can climb in, but not out.

I had to catch an emerald crab once. What a PITA!
