does anyone ever use a power head like an MP10 in there refugium

i feel like an mp10 would really be overkill in a 'fuge.
What is your purpose for adding flow? Are you trying to tumble the macro algae? suspend detritus? provide airation?

I have a 6045 in my fuge. It keeps everything suspended and it is goof for the cheato to have flow moving around it. My fuge is an old 30gl tank though, not an in sump model.

I have various pumps in my sump...1 with the skimmer, so detrius does not build up, and one where my cheato is.

I bout a little 20 gph pump at petsmart and hooked it up in my sump keep in mind I have a 20 gallon sump so. But it does the job. Rember nothing to major to have everything moving around in the fug. :splitspin Take pictures when you have put one it. :birthday:
