Hey eveyone just purchased a used 220 tank in excellent condition for almost nothing. It has tons of coraline on the back and over flows. What is the best possible way to get this tank 100% to new condition? What do I use to make this tank spotless again? Thanks

vinegar, lots of vinegar.. Get yourself about 3 gallons mixed with water and soak that bad boy or you could wet the coraline real good and scrape it off using the vinegar water solution, and a razor.. Take your time you don't want to cut yourself or the glass.

I would use about 10 gallons of vinegar, fill the tank with tap water and run it a return pump & sump if possible or if not, then just below the overflow grate with a couple of strong powerheads. It'll take a few days for all the coralline to get soft and you will still need to use an aquarium safe pad to scrub areas.
