As title says it looks like there are actual plants that are growing out of my rock, is this a bad or good thing? should i go in there and snip um? any help would be much appreciated. thanks in advance.

i cant see much but it just looks like algae, if you have any tangs they will eat them, you dont need to snip it or remove it unless it gets out of control, i believe it lowers phosphates but not sure

yup i cant remember for the life of me what type of algae it is but its nothing to be alarmed about, it kinds adds a natural feeling to the tank as well

in the picture on the left its shows the plant/algae growing out of the rock and on the second picture it is directly to the left of my rose anemone.

Cool i didn't know algae grew like that , like with a stem and a leaf.
sargassum does !
