Horseshoe Crabs-Safe?

I keep seeing-are they reef-safe? FOWLR safe? Anyone have experience with them? Should I pick one up? I have always been amazed by them- they seem so prehistoric...

Not really suited for our tanks unfortunately as they are quite interesting..they get way too large.
Downside is once you keep one in your tank when they are young & cute (in a horseshoe crab kinda way...), it should not be returned to the ocean, so you are stuck with it and nobody will take it from you.

Same goes for flounder btw

I had one before at night he would come out and roam around the tank till one night he was tossed around by the power heads and made a amazing landing right in the anenome ....chomp chomp b4 that he was a good dude...
