Protein Skimmer?! Help

hey everyone just wanted to know what everyone is running, on there 220 gallon tanks, im expecting a heavy bio load, i really dont want to go over the $500 mark. I had a vertex 250 in my 120 that rocked, was wondering if i should go with the 280 model its rated for 280 gallon tanks, but not sure that if there is something better out there want to do it right and once. thanks everyone happy holidays

We use the Bermuda Aquatics BPS-5C on our fish and LPS/softy holding system. The stocking on it varies from heavy to moderately heavy at all times.

I have a G3 on my 150 with 40 gallon sump and i have no problems. And i keep all kinds of sps's.

I heard those weren't good skimmers hard choice want the best bang for the $

I went from a Turboflotor 1000 to a SWC Extreme 200 which is the same as the MSX/Octopus This unit is a little noisy but gets more skimite out then the 1000. I run about 168 gals total on this unit, with high bio load
