When I was buying some snails from a fish store in Queens I noticed in the bag there was actually an extra hermit crab instead of a snail.
It also had some small anemone on it. The crab was actually dead so I pulled it out and placed the shell in my tank.
4 months later the 3 anemone have moved to one area of glass, they appear to be Calliactis Anemone. I cant find any info on these.
They have increased in size and I am considering trying to place them in my LR section of my sump if they are relatively safe.
Is it a good idea to keep these?
