Algae on overflow
I have some algae on my overflow & return. Is this common. My snails are always grazing on it. Nitrates 5 ppm on a red sea test kit

its very normal i bet u just have it on the overflow and return hose just clean it once in a while so it doesnt look so bad

it is ok dont worrie about some times a clean tank does not mean it is healthy

Perfectly normal! To me it works like those "Algae Scrubbers".lol As long as I don't have algae on my rocks, or corals I'm happy.

Pluck it out once in awhile so that it doesn't impead the flow down to your sump.
