Eheim 1260 above water??

Does anyone use this pump above the water? Any issues like leaking or vibrations?

I looking to do what is detailed on this link and just want to plan for any short comings this pump my have above water.

I know that Eheims are great pumps. Very quiet and reliable for years. They can be run externally. I think whether or not it will leak is up to you and how your connections are.
