The bristleworm that is commonly found in a our reef tanks spawn by releasing its sperm into the water column. It's really a shame they tend to do it at night (often after a water change and often around a full moon...) as it is hot pink in color. It is also suprising how cloudy your tank becomes when it happens. ..it does clear in a couple of hours and your fish & corals will love it :)
