Does anyone have any experience raising rotifers? my Oscelaris clown fish laid eggs and i would like to try to raise the fry. Will probably purchase the rotifers online unless some one here has them, but need to know what they eat. I have read that they eat phytoplankton, if this is true can i use Kent Marine Phytoplex or should i use the solutions that they sell online? Any information would be really helpful Thanks.

I feed my rotifer culture algae paste/instant algae so it'll save me the process of culturing phyto; Nannochloropsis 3600 to be exact. You can find more info on it from Reed Mariculture or Brine Shrimp Direct's website. I tried using cysts from Brine Shrimp Direct but failed, culture never started (probably my screw up) ended up buying a live rotifer starter culture from Reed's and is working out, for now.

My clowns just laid eggs also and I was think about raising them to see if I could do it so any info on rotifers would be great there gonna hatch soon I can see eyes on the clowns
