Sea Slugs

Any suggestions on getting a slug or sea hare, & how well they might work,
as part of the cleaning crew.

your better off scratching that idea. pretty rough to keep alive. ive heard they die within the first week. and if some die, there goes the whole tank. poison excurts out. they do good with hair algae, but is that worth it? mexican turbos are equivillent and much safer. good luck!

Actually dont buy one- some(i know of one definate) LFS rent them- you pay well will say what the rip off artists down the road from me do- wont say which store -- but you rent him for 25 bucks and then when hes done cleanin up your tank you return him and get half your money back- so for 12 or 13 bucks you get the benefits then you return him, and hell be in someone elses tank a week later mongin on their algae.
