Is A Single Bulb Enough For....

A 30 gallon tank (36" x 18" x 12") that will house shrooms, frogspawn, gsp, etc? I'm not looking to have any sps or anything else for that matter that requires intense lighting. I know the general rule of thumb is 2 watts/gallon and the one I'm interested in says 56 watts so I assume that should be enough. Thanks!

i would get at least 2 bulbs.if its a money issue 2 bulbs are pretty cheap and your going to want a actinic in there.also look in the 4 sale thread you can find some 4 bulb t-5 for a good price

One option is a 36'' PC fixture with 1,96watt 50/50 bulb.Use LED's for moon light.I have one available if you what to see it.

Well money plays into it as I'm trying to set up a small tank for my dad to get into the hobby. I guess I'll consider just getting the 2 bulb one.

if you can, stick with at least one 10000k and one actinic, if you want to have a nice setup, maybe try Austrilian LPS, they do extremely well with lower light output, shrooms will do good also.
