Snail with coraline algae

Is it possible to have a snail with coraline algae growing on it ?

I have a white snail with a purple color growing on it. I was just wondering if anyone else has seen this

Sure over 3/4's of my hernits and snails have coralline forming on their shells. I dont think coralline is picky to where it chooses to grow any hard surface itll encrust.

majority of the time most lfs have coraline algae on there snails. ive even have had mini feather dusters. the coolest out of all them are the sponge crab. they collect either coraline algae and put it on them. if not they will put zoos, pylops, shrooms, sand ect on the top of them

I can't find the picture, but I have a turbo snail that has a green Pocillopora growing off it's shell.

I once got some nice golden astreas. They were nice for about 2 weeks, after which the coralline growth made them look just like my other snails.

You guys are lucky. My snails always grow hair algae.
