So I decided to go with an ASM skimmer, I am setting up a 90 Gal tank, could it be overkill if I use the ASM G4 rated for 350 Gallons? I might upgrade later and I would like to just take from one and place in the other.
Skimmer overkill?

They overrate that skimmer as most other companies do. IMO that skimmer is sufficient for a 90 but not more. They're many newer skimmers on the market that produce more air in the same price range. I would definitely recommend doing a little more research.
