the only puffer ive ever had experiences with that is reef safe is the freshwater Green Spotted puffers,(easily acclimated to salt, was done by my friend at petland for me to make sure i didnt waste my money) i once had 3 in a tank with some polyps (tank eventually crashed) but they didn't bother my corals ever.

atm i have two going to most likely get rid of them soon as im doing different things with my tank and need any little amount of funds i can get to get some equipment.

I'm going to dig this thread up. I keep a green spotted puffer with green star polyps. He does not go after the polyps. Surprisingly he does not go after the crabs any more. I guess they have become good at hiding. Shrimp... Lol, he decimates them.
How is your 14g going?
