I was at the LFS trying to figure out what fish to save from the slow death that is petland discounts and I saw a guy with a bucket looking at the tanks, so I started talking to him.

He wanted to buy about 20lbs of LR and I said "Dude, you have to get on MR and they will hook you up!" It would have been so sad if Petland had sold him their raggedy NOT LIVE IN THE LEAST BIT rock for his tank.

So anyway, I convinced him to sign up and it was nice to meet someone near me in downtown manhattan that is a fellow reefer.

Also, I have 3 scooter blennies happily crusing around my 180g now. They are very happy.

I did the same thing for some lady in Aquarium express. She was going to buy the special 90$ kenya tree home grown.
