There are alot of good vendors here on MR. I would try them first. But if your looking for a store near you, you can check out jaws in elmsford, I hear they have a new owner.

Take a trip to Queens and just explore the different LFS.... For fish, definitely try Fishtown USA IF you know how to pick them. The pricing and selection are good, but the stock is roughed up pretty badly sometimes....
