My LFS recommends feeding every other day. I feed some frozen silversides and frozen shrimp (large and small) and some seaweed paper.

How much should I feed? Should it only be what the fish consume in 5-10 minutes?

I have a 150 gallon Fish Only tank. It is around 4 months old and I currently have

Picaso Trigger (around 3"-4")
Hawaain Trigger (around 4")
Panther Grouper (around 4") - going back soon
Lionfish (around 5"-6")
Porcupine Puffer (around 4"-5")
Hippo Tang (around 4"-5")
Heniochus Butterfly Fish (around 4")

The filtration is a wet dry sump with bio balls and an Octopus XP2000sss skimmer.

I want to make sure I am not over feeding.

thanks

Different fish have different needs. Read up on the ones you have. Feeding only as much as they can eat in a couple minutes is a good general rule. But some fish need to be fed a few times a day. So read.

Feeding fish what they consume in 5-10 minutes makes no scent at all.For example Tangs need to graze on algae through out the day.You have 7 fish so that's 35 minutes of feeding time at 5 minutes each?Ever fish require different feeding requirements.Lionfish ,Triggers and Groupers can be fed every other day.
