White plant like algae?

I have white plant like algae growing on my live rock. What is it and is it harmful to my tank? Thanks in advance

Yeah,is it like a long tentacle coming out of the rock?I think there was an old thread and I had them in another tank.Harmless.Hydroids I think are the name of those.

Yes they are kind of cool looking. They look a little bit like a small coral. Is there a way to get rid of it?

Hard to get at them being they only come out at night but they're harmless

It's growing on the L/R. It's always there they don't swim or anything . Did you think it was something else?
