Skimmer Cup Placement?

Hey guys,

Just got a skimmer from Custom King, and was curious about the skimmer cup...how high/low do I put it? I know if I put it too low it will fill up with foam/water within an hour...but how often should it be filling up completely? Once every two days or so? Hopefully someone knows what I mean by this...

This is the first time im using it...and it looks like im going to fill it up within an hour...and all the skimmate is yellow...gross.

what brand of skimmer might help and sounds like your running it on the wet side

sorry about that...the skimmer is built into the HOB fuge...its just a chamber that a rio800 RVT is pumping into. and there is a skimmer cup on top....

raise the cup as high as it will go, usually those type of skimmers arent going to give you a real dark nog
