Sump?

Newbie Question - I been hearing more and more about setting up a sump for my 75 gallon tank (starting FOWLR). I have no clue where to begin. Can anyone suggest a few pointers (online articles, diagrams, pictures, etc.)?

This guy has great info on this subject and though he works in acrylic a lot of the same principles will apply in glass.
