about my 155 gallon aquarium

hey,
i have a 155 gallon bow front aquarium 72 long by 24 high by 24 wide
and im loosing about 2 gallons of water from evoperation every 2 or so days is that normal.

Yes, that would be normal.
Be sure to top off with unsalted rodi water so you do not change your salinity.

Your evaporation rate is going to depend on a lot of things.

1. The temperature of the water itself.
2. The temperature of the room its in.
3. How much water movement there is in the sump (ie. a lot of bubbles popping and all that).
4. How humid it is wherever the tank is.
5. If you are utilizing fans for cooling the tank.


I'm sure there is more but that's all I could get off the top of my head.
