So I have a 125 reef tank and I want to make sure I am not adding too much

So this is what I have:

- 1 Hippo Tang (large)
- 6 Orange Chromis
- 1 bicolor angel (small-medium)
- ~175lbs live rock
- ~12 corals (3 colonies and the rest frags)

This is what I want to add tomorrow

- 2 Maroon Clowns
- 1 Pink Tail Trigger
- large Acan
- 1 bubble tip anemone

I wouldn't add multiple new additions at once.

I'd also rethink the trigger.

Aside from aggression, the trigger and hippo can both approach a foot long.

As they reach adult sizes, they will put a dent in your water quality, and be subject to more stress.

And if you want your corals to do well, this will mean more frequent water changes, and possibly more expensive equipment.

Whatever you add, go slowly, and use a QT. If you don't have a QT, make that your next priority, over adding more livestock.

well the tank has been up and running for about 4 months now

everything is stable and what is in there has been added slowly

I am thinking of holding off on the pinktail entirely (unless its on the smaller size)

but how does everything else sound?

If you are going to put a trigger in there just be prepared for the fact that you might not be able to add any more fish once it gets established. Even the "passive" triggers can be quite aggressive.

the less or smaller the fish the better, the reef setup requires many a water change to maintain pristine quality; more fish, more fish waste, more water changes = more inconvience. JUST THINK OF YOUR SELF DOESNT HURT TO BE SELFISH
