looking to get a ecotech for my 34gal solana but i see there are a few models. can any one advice me on which one should get. and whats the difference eco-smart and non eco-smart.

if you can find an older MP10 i would just get it. I had a chance to play with teh ecosmart driver at a friends place and while it is cool, it isn't really necessary if you are just going to run a single vortech.

You will be fine with the regular MP10, I have one on my 45g cube and its a great pump.

i'm using a koralia 3 on my solana and it has enough flow for the whole tank. no messy wires on the side.
