Question about lighting during HEAT WAVE

so i came home yesterday and my tank was in the high 80s - 90 range and my corals were def stressed. so what i want to know is if i need to have the light on or not or if you have any suggestions to cut down on the heat

Tank specs:
NC 12 with PC lighting

corals, softies, lps and pretty much hardy corals

Aside from getting a chiller or turning the room AC on?

You can keep the lights off for up to 3 days without any damage.

Not going to be in the 90s the rest of the year after today so, no need to worry.

dont really want to invest in a chiller, and my central AC crapped out on me -_-

Pick up some 1" styro to keep the cover open, this should vent some heat out. If you need more use a clip on fan over the food door, you'll evap a lot more but temps should stay down.

Can you blow a fan directly at the water? My tank cools down fast that way through evaporation.
