Bringing back bleached corals

I have some bleached ric's I had bought before I upgraded my lights and they're still paleish/green. More so, I had mushrooms colonies that went from being the jewels of my reef to shriveled up clumps (looks like coral on the way from the fs). What can I do to revive all those corals?

Raise your lighting, or get corals that require more intense lighting. :splitspin

Tell us what kind of lighting you had and what you have now in your tank?

You will want to place the bleached corals so they are low in the tank and in a shaded area. Each week or so you can move them further out into the stronger lighting if they look like they are holding their own.

If we are talking about ALL of the corals in your tank, you will want to raise your new light higher than you plan to keep it on a regular basis and use some screening over the top of your tank. Some folks will put down about 3 layers of fiberglass screen and remove one screen per week to acclimate the corals to the stronger lighting.

Well I already removed 2 white LED's dropping it down to 12 (8 blue, 4 white). I had the original dual atinitic 27w powercompact bulb and I had white powerbrite strip , i've already tryed moving the them from shady to brighter but my larger colony ( even tho they're cheap mushrooms) isn't recovering all that well. Would vitamins help along in the healing process?

It sounds like the lighting upgrade was less than 40 watts? If so, I'm skeptical that the lighting change is the cause of the distress. You might want to investigate parameters.
