vodka+mb7 doseing vs bio-pellets

hi every one. I know some of you guys have try vodka+mb7 doseing in your reef thank and some of u guys can help me. I want to know if I dose vodka every time do I need to add mb7 too? and bio-pellets is better than vodka doseing?

probably something else, because first and foremost it did no harm to my tank.

I did a lot of due diligence on this subject a month back before I started so I'll regurgitate on what I've gathered.

If you're going to carbon dose with MB7, then I would suggest dosing MB7 with 2 weeks first and then start dosing Vodka,Vinegar,VSV, Vitamin C, etc. The reason being that you'll want the MB7 to colonize a bit first before you add the carbon so they can out compete the "bad" bacteria, ie, cyanobacteria.

Also, the instructions states that you should turn off your skimmer for 4 hours after you dose MB7 but not much came back on that on my searches.

So yea... There you have it, no ill effect so far for me. Just don't overdose or you'll get some white film bacteria bloom.

I dose DIY Ca, Alk, MG n now the Bio-pellets
I have a good thread on RC about the bio-pellet results

it did not really seem attractive to me but i will look into the pellets. im on RC also im going to look into the thread thanks for the info . btw monster system u have there congrats. love the now and then look lol when are you doing another meet i would love to come check your tank out.

1+ been using 4 months now love the colors and will never stop using them as of right now and there is no dosing everyday love them:inlove:
