How long after using pvc cement can I use the piece for my plumbing? sry Im learning !!

once it's dry. they dry fairly quick.

To be sure its dry, I orient mine in the direction of a fan for a couple hours. I worry that some pieces won't cure completely due to trapped gases or that this can leech chemicals. Paranoia I know but that cement is nasty stuff.
