Brought the dude home on Sunday. Sunday night he seemed happy, tentacles extended, etc. Monday afternoon I moved him to a better location (less crowded). Since then he has not opened up. Should I be worried or is this normal? This is my first scoly, sorry for the dumb questions :)

Is the flow & lighting the same in the new location as it was in the original?

Any possibility you can post a full tank shot so we can see his placement and the location of your powerheads & aquascaping?

will post a pic when i get home. flow is about the same. lighting slightly higher. both locations are at the bottom of the tank, difference is that now he's on the substrate whereas before he had been on a rock, but that spot was too tight when he expanded

any time you move corals they don't like it. So you moved it ti get it home and then moved it again. best to leave it at least a few days before you make a second move. Will probably be ok.
