SORRY IN ADVANCE FOR LONG POST: U GUYS KNOW ME....LOL

hey guys =).. well today i got some fragss.. one is a cnady cane i think? and the other is either a frogspawn or torch... im not sure since i was in a rush... anyways... heres a pic and tell me what ya think. i was told frogspawn doesnt like alot of flow. my frogspawn(i think it's a frogspawn) is under the filter flow but i will raise the water level so it wont be hitting it directly.. also do they need spot fedding?? cuase what i like to do is crush some pellets and just put it in the water so fish can eat big chunks and corals and eat the small crushed powder.. also all my corals are getting huge, but for some reason at night my mushroom shrivels up and most close up. in the night the temp also sometimes drop. is that okay?? i know it probably is stressful. but it only drops like 2 degrees the most if not 3. also an IMPORTANT questions. why are my chromis fish not very active. a few days ago they swam like out in the open. and after a water change on wednesday the seem to be staying in one corner.. and at night they are like hideing and and turn dark.. this is weird or normal? and also if u could identify my corals cause im not sure exactly what their called. how long does it take frogspawn to grow?

heres pics..

I can't believe I was actually able to read that post.

Okay Number 1. Relax.

-Your Chromis "issue" is fine. They do hide when they sleep and they do discolor when they sleep. I am not sure how you did you water change and what you did to do it. But they usually group up and stay in a corner if they feel threatened or something is going on. From the sounds of it your tank is new? So give them time to adjust. Of course I am responding under the assumption you did everything correctly.

-Frogspawns do not like a lot of flow hitting them directly so put them in an area with gentle flow but not too much. You have a torch coral frag not a frogspawn. Euphylia's generally do not like high flow but I have had some torch coral exceptions.

-It is a neon green candy cane.

-Your temperature fluctuation is fine. It's nighttime... There's less heat.

-Mushrooms shrivel up at night so you are fine. Most corals recede at night.

-Do not crush your pellets. Put them in so the fish can eat it. Crushing it just increases your detritus levels because you don't have corals that "feed" in particular.

thanks so much =).. the reason i crush is it because the fish dont like it when it is not cursh.. it's almost too big for it... or maybe too hard? i might need to soak it maybe... i try to feed every other day...also i crush because i thought it might be good for corals but u stated i dont have corals that "feed" so i guess ill be fine.. also should i be dosing or anything?? my tank is soo small that people tell me just keep up with weekly changes and it should keep calcium and mag and everything at a constant rate.. the salt mix adjusts the water to a good calc level and mag and ph..
