trimless question

ive been looking at alote of different tanks and been wondering what is it that makes rimless tanks hold itself with no trim on top of tank.i had seen someones tank that had no trim on top but one on the bottom, it look really nice,the glass was as thick as mine, the glue looked the same as well and i was thinking it would be nice to remove mine even though iv heard it cant be done, i think it can be done.what do u guys think ..........what makes it hold itself together,,whats different

the difference between trimless and trimmed tanks is the glass thickness and the type of glass that they use the glue might appear the same but i think it's different.........
