tank problem need help!!!!

ok guys i created my sump and and its up and running fine and i dont know why i have this problem in my tank but my tank its producing alot of waste my sump is broken down in three parts skimmer-fuge-return im clueless right now because one of my fishes died and when i did tested the ater everything seemed fine can anyone tell me how to clear up my water

how old is the setup? It could just be its natural algae cycle

Well 1st off you just hooked that new dolphin900 tht you got from me ,so im assuming that you have more flow in your tank now ,which will cuz waste to blow off your rocks
also are you using a filter sock in your sump to catch all that crap falling in there ?

super skimmer(125 gal)also some biomax i decided to throw on the bottom-fuge has some sand and a piece of rock and a dolphin return pump

Andy did you let the sump(silicone) cure properly? And what silicone did you use??

It could be a natural process but your tank was crystal not to long ago...something to do wth the sump probably....

That tank needs more rock - won't likely keep up on bioload and filtration with that little. Also, better specs of your tank would be better to help you.

Take out the ammo rocks in the skimmer compartment, its crap trap...that'll just get your nitrates going up...

nah actually i dont have a filter sock on it,but still that cant be the cause of it shouldnt the skimmer pick most of it up

You need a filter sock as DW said and get rid of that biomax c**p - you wont need it.

Also, cut your photo period for a short time.

Kicking the crap off the rocks would just put the dirt in a different place to break down, doubt that would have to do with sudden algae. Unless its really been building up somewhere.

When you redid your rocks did you mess with the sand alot?

the silicone dried properly i used a aquarium silicone that i bought from a ACE hardware store

Aside from the prior suggestions, I think you need more flow in the main tank. Those two powerheads will not cut it.

Also, is your tank leveled? The water looks uneven.
